When the word “church” comes up in conversation, the first thing we think of is a building. We have this mindset that church is a place we go to on Sundays. it’s easy to forget the fact that; We are the church.
In 1 Timothy 5, Paul describes the church as people dedicated to doing whatever it takes to reach out and help others. We are still able to serve and help others in need as the church. Caring for each other as well as those outside of the church is the quickest way to see Jesus change lives.
The people of Hemet United Methodist Church invite you to our Sunday morning worship in person or via Zoom. We look forward to joining together at 10:30 for a time of worship and praise for the many blessings God has provided. We will worship God by singing, praying, reading scripture and listening to a message. In person at the Sanctuary, YouTube and through Zoom, we also enjoy a time of fellowship after the service.
Zoom meeting information is available by contacting the office. You’ll be able to join us over the phone, computer or tablet. Watch for recordings of our services on Facebook.

OUR PLEDGE TO THE COMMUNITY PANTRY…..
Over a year ago the Community Pantry contacted faith-based organizations and other organizations with the need for financial support.
Financial donations, in addition to food items, are an excellent way for HUMC to support the work of the Community Pantry. There is great need in the valley and this is a good way for us to serve in the providing food and shelter to others.
There are donation envelopes available in the red food wagon in the Narthex and during our parking lot food drives. Donations can also be marked “Community Pantry“ and mailed to the church.
