When the word “church” comes up in conversation, the first thing we think of is a building. We have this mindset that church is a place we go to on Sundays. it’s easy to forget the fact that; We are the church.
In 1 Timothy 5, Paul describes the church as people dedicated to doing whatever it takes to reach out and help others. We are still able to serve and help others in need as the church. Caring for each other as well as those outside of the church is the quickest way to see Jesus change lives.
The people of Hemet United Methodist Church invite you to our Sunday morning worship in person or via Zoom and YouTube. We look forward to joining together at 10:30 for a time of worship and praise for the many blessings God has provided. We will worship God by singing, praying, reading scripture and listening to a message. In person at the Sanctuary, YouTube and through Zoom, we also enjoy a time of fellowship after the service.

40 Day Lenten Reading
During Lent, the entire church is invited to read the Gospel of Luke. Plan to start reading on Ash Wednesday. By the time you reach Easter, you will have read through the whole Gospel of Luke and, we hope, will have a renewed understanding of Jesus’s care for you.
